Ways to Work With Hecate: Hecate is someone who is normally easy to work with. Mostly if you’re good to her then she will be good to you. She is very much about respect. One way to work with her is being kind to animals, especially dogs.

Another way to work with her is during a full moon or a new moon. New moons are when she is at her strongest. Sometimes it’s when she’s most busy. Hecate can help tie unwanted emotions, situations, etc. to the full moon to get rid of. When you want to manifest something during a new moon it’s good to call upon her.

Hecate is also the keeper of keys and crossroads. When you’re unsure of a decision you can reach out to her. She will help you make the decision that will help you the most. Though sometimes you may not see it as soon as you think, it will still happen. It’s all about divine timing.

Spirits and negative entities can be a problem. Hecate can help you with those problems. Call on her when they become too much and you can’t handle them yourselves. She will come in and get rid of them. Hecate is all about protection. She will help get rid of those nasties.

Types of Items to Place on Her Altar: Bones, anything black, Black or Purple candles, lavender, garlic, honey (keep fresh bc of bugs), keys (the older the better), and anything she might ask for.

Hecate Personality: You can develop a unique relationship with her depending on what you need. Most people see her as the mother or crone. She is also the maiden too. Personally, I see her as a mother. Sometimes people see her as a sister, aunt, or grandmother.

Depending on your situation and your need. She can be a great ally to have on your team. Hecate mostly works with women but she will work with men. She especially likes it when you are kind of dogs. Depending on the relationship you build with her is how she will act. No matter what she will help guide you on your path. She does bare the torches after all.
